NorthWood Church is celebrating its 25th Aniversary in 2010.  Founded in 1985 by Pastor Bob Roberts Jr, the church has consistently served the world and has served its community.

Through local programs in Keller and nearby Haltom City, an economically depressed city in the Fort Worth area, NorthWood volunteers have provided support to at risk school students and their families through tutoring programs, medical clinics and senior care.

Working around the world, the church has created a Non-Government Organization, Glocal Ventures, to serve Vietnam including significant contributions to that country’s educational system.  It also supports an orphanage and provides construction teams in Puebla, Mexico.

Recently, NorthWood has partnered with the Islamic Center of Irving and Temple Shalom of Dallas to educate each organizations members about the traditions of their faith.  Knowing that each held strong beliefs, they work together out of common respect to bring about change in the Metroplex area.
